By Shinkansen train
The one way journey will take about 25 minutes with a cost of about 4,200 yen. There are some shinkansen trains for every hour. Tokuyama station and Hiroshima station are connected with each other by the JR Sanyo Shinkansen(山陽新幹線).
By Local train
The one way journey will take about 2 hours with a cost of 1,660 yen.
There is need to change trains at Iwakuni Station （岩国駅）.
How to get to Miyajima by local train
Between those two stations, Miyajima, UNESCO World Heritage Site is located. Visitors, who want to stop by there before getting to Hiroshima, get off at Miyajima-guchi Station (宮島口駅).The one way journey will take 100 minutes with a cost of 1,320 yen.Visitors need to change trains at Iwakuni Station（岩国駅）.
